W6 Spring, DRAWING BOOTCAMP
Ideal as an introduction to drawing or a refresher for more advanced artists, this two-day workshop will cover basic drawing skills such as perspective, light/shade, mark making, and sighting. We will practice exercises to hone observations skills. Learning to draw is about learning to see. For those who wish to explore using their drawing skills outside, this class is followed by Intro to Plein Air Painting.

A9 Spring, PENCIL, PEN, AND PAPER BASICS

Drawing is the foundation for all visual arts and no matter what your skill level or reason for drawing, challenges will and should emerge with each new endeavor. The basic instruments are pencil and pen, closely linked in simplicity, handling and perception, they can both dazzle and drive to distraction. All skill levels are invited, we’ll cover as many aspects of drawing as time allows.
