W3 Spring, REPRESENTATIONALISM MEETS ABSTRACTION IN WATERCOLOR

Carole McDermott is Vice President of the American Watercolor Society and strongly promotes a contemporary risk-taking approach to watercolor paintings. Students will be encouraged to discover glazing, splashing drips and other watercolor techniques. Basic drawing skills are helpful, but all levels of experience are welcome. Participants please be sure to bring reference photos and enthusiasm to push your own personal unique vision. After a brief demo, special emphasis of the workshop day will be on creative, supportive, individual attention, and critiques.
